Enka Intermediate School is designed to enhance the interaction between students and teachers. It incorporates state-of-the-art technology and space flexibility to foster collaboration between students and teachers in a variety of organizational modalities throughout the day to support a project-based learning curriculum.
Sustainable concepts, campus security and a strong connection to the history of the community were influencing factors in the design of the school. Some of the features of the school include maker’s spaces, outdoor classrooms, daylight harvesting devices and small group technology hubs.
